In August 2025, UNP staff, mentors, youth and their families, board members, interns, supporters, and partners from all the way back to our first cohort in 2014 gathered at Mt. Scott Park to reunite, share memories, and celebrate our time together. It was a heartfelt evening reflecting on the amazing volunteerism and partnerships of our community, the hundreds of fun and challenging adventures we’ve had together in Portland’s urban blue and greenspaces, and how our first 10-year-olds have grown into 21-year-old young adults~ starting their own journeys with wind in their sails and lifelong friendships from their time with UNP.
