You don’t need to

summit a mountain

in the wilderness
to experience nature and gain a sense of accomplishment.
Greater Portland’s rich mosaic of

wild urban spaces

are what makes living here great—
places where you ride your bike,
walk your dog, or just chill out
under a tree.
But many of our

young people

don’t get to experience these places
due to relatively small barriers in knowledge,
gear, and time with adults outside of school.
Urban Nature Partners PDX was started to

change all that.
